Holiday Swag

My sample

This tutorial requires: Jasc PSP and Animation Shop.
A basic knowledge of PSP tools.
Tubes or images you would like to use to decorate and a sparkle tube.

Open a new image 500x500 transparent background.
Add a new layer called swag.
Using the "spruce" tube in PSP 9 I created a swag.
You can make your own by using the tube set at a size that looks good and by pasting the tube in different spots to form what appears to be a swag.
If you do not want to make your own then you can download my swag here.
Unzip the swag image into a folder of your choice.   Open the swag and copy it then paste it as a new layer into the new transparent image you just created.
Now all you have to do is decorate it.
Add a new layer called bow.
You can make your own bow or ribbon or you can use a tube.
The red bow tube I used is from Folkarttreasures.com.
Place the bow on your swag where you want it to go.
Using different tubes, decorate the swag as you like. Be sure to put each image on it's own layer. This way you can move them and rotate them or change them after.
Then it's done.
Here is one of my completed swags.
Once you have the swag decorated the way you like, merge visible layers, and crop it closer to the swag so you dont have all that dead space around it.
