Easter Egg Holders

My samples

This tutorial requires:
A basic knowledge of PSP tools.
Tubes or images you would like to use to decorate.

Open a new image 450 x 70 transparent bgd, and make sure it is at least 300 pixels per inch.
Add a new layer, and decorate your band with tubes or images that you would like.
Be sure you do each image on a separate layer so you can move them later
Add a new layer, then add text if you want text.
Add a new layer, and flood fill it with a background colour or texture.
This will be your band background.
Now if you would like a border around it, make sure your background colour
is set to what you want, and go up to image, add border and select your size. When it looks the way you want, Merge all layers.
When completed, print it onto thick paper (or regular paper) and cut it out.
Bend it into a circle small enough to fit the base of the egg
without the egg touching the table.
Glue the 2 small edges together to form a band.
Now it's done. Set your decorated easter egg into it
and you have a nice little holder to display your or your children's eggs.I know my kids like to paint eggs for their grandparents
and they never have anything to display it in...So now i will get my kids
to give a band with each egg so they can display it.
